Directions to VIP 2000 Campground/Takeout: Our campsite is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of the Dan River and State Route #62. To get there, take U.S. Route #58 East of Danville to the intersection of State Route #62 and turn South. Go 4.2 miles and on your Right just before you cross the Dan River you will see a landing and signs for The Wildlife Access Area. Turn Right and go through the fence.

Camping: will be available starting late afternoon on Thursday June 22nd through Sunday the 25th.

Directions to VIP 2000 Putin:   We will be able to drop boats at the put-in on Friday night and  volunteers will secure this area .  To go from the campsite to the put-in go North on State Route #62 and turn Left on U.S. #58 West toward Danville. Take U.S. #29 South and stay in the far Right hand lane and exit at the Dan Daniel Memorial Park. As you come up the ramp turn Left and go across the bridge on River Park Drive. Just go straight and at the stop sign turn Right on Stenson Drive (follow signs for Public Boat Landing). Then go Left on North Side Drive and turn Left into Anglers Park.

Note: Attendance is for members and guests by invitation only. All participants, except VIP's and invited guests, will be charged a river tax of $5.00 per head to be collected Friday night.
