The Whitt Riverbend Park is now a reality! The full purchase price has been raised. Many thanks to Randi Lemmon and Bill Tanger for their hard work to make this a reality. The park is located on the New River between Ripplemead and Pearisburg. The City of Pearisburg will maintain the park. More details coming later.
Whitt Riverbend Park is located At the point where Big Walker Creek joins the
New River.
Going west on US 460 cross the bridge over the New River and turn right on SR
636 and go thru Ripplemead. continue across railroad tracks and under the US 460
bridge over the New River. follow SR 636 to end at park.
