Float Fishermen of Virginia memberships allow you and your family the opportunity to enjoy a great day outdoors on one of West Virginia's wild and scenic rivers. Become one of the crew as you soar down a mighty river. The New River Gorge provides moderate summer time levels while in the fall the Upper & Lower Gauley provide the East Coast's biggest whitewater! River trips include a qualified guide and all the necessary equipment.
Raft trips are provided by your voluntary $21.00 contribution to the raft fund ($10.00 goes to raft fund, $5.00 shuttle & $6.00 camping). This provides us with a meeting place to organize and get ready for the trip, hot showers to return to after a hard days paddling and a place to camp if you can't lift your arms. Contributions are also split to cover gas for those that shuttle the trip.
