The Elk River Festival is on the weekend of April 4-6, 2008. Many of the club members will be lodging at the Webster Springs Motel near the river -- rooms may be sparse if you are not already reserved. This is a Class 2-3 river with very cold water, so be sure to dress appropriately in case of a cold day or a cold water swim.
