Memorial Day Weekend at R5,

Rappahannock River / Sunday, May 27th 2007

Our photographer was too busy trying to stay (or get back) in the boat during the mile or so around Lauk's Island to get any pictures, but was able to capture the greeting party at the take out.

Note that the calm water from the Route 1 bridge (seen in the background) to the shore was not typical of this last mile.
